To fit a Snap-On Smile, first, soften the material by immersing it in hot (almost boiling) water for about 1-2 minutes. Then, carefully remove it, shake off excess water, and quickly press it onto your upper or lower teeth, adjusting for a comfortable fit. Finally, cool it in cold water to set the shape.
Detailed Instructions:
  1. 1. Preparation:
    • Ensure your teeth are clean and dry.
    • Have a cup of hot (almost boiling) water ready.
    • Have a cup of cold water ready.
    • 2. Soften the Appliance:
      • Place the Snap-On Smile in the hot water for 1-2 minutes, ensuring it's fully submerged.
      • The material should become flexible and soft.
      • 3. Fitting:
        • Carefully remove the appliance from the hot water.
        • Shake off excess water.
        • Let it cool for about 5 seconds to avoid burning your gums.
        • Position the appliance over your teeth and press firmly to create an impression of your bite.
        • Use your fingers or tongue to adjust the fit for comfort.
        • 4. Setting and Cooling:
          • Hold the appliance in place for about 30 seconds to allow the material to cool and harden.
          • Remove it from your mouth and place it in the cold water to fully set.
          • Once cooled, the impression of your teeth should be set.
          • 5. Final Steps:

            If the fit isn't perfect, you can repeat the process. After the final fitting, clean the Snap-On Smile before wearing it.

2. Place the adhesive gauge in the holder and then put on the smiley braces.
